Mr. Markus Anak Gajis holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Open University Malaysia, graduating in 2010. He pursued his diploma while working full-time as an Environmental Technical Executive at a local environmental firm, where he served for more than ten years (1997–2009). In 2010, he joined Punj-Lloyd-Dialog-Petrosab Consortium (PDPC), the EPCC contractor for the Sabah-Sarawak Gas Pipeline Project, one of the largest pipeline projects in East Malaysia. He was appointed as an Environmental Officer, responsible for managing and resolving all environmental matters related to the project. After gaining about a year of experience with PDPC, he joined Perunding Najna Sdn Bhd in September 2011 as an Environmental Executive. Over the years, he has acquired extensive technical and academic experience and plays a significant role in environmental sampling
and monitoring, including offshore oil and gas projects, laboratory analysis, EIA-related survey works, and the preparation of EMP and EMR reports. With his wide-ranging experience in environmental services and consultancy, he contributes significantly to the projects currently undertaken by the company.
